This Disc brake adapter is 3d printed from titanium, it allow the use of flat mount calipers on a frame or fork that is equipped with standard IS mounts.
Compatibility: - Rear IS Mount (Frame): 140mm rotors only - Front IS Mount (Fork): 160mm rotors only
We tested with SRAM Force D2, E1 and Red E1 flat mount calipers.Â
After installation, the caliper has been shifted inward by 3mm, which also necessitated an adjustment to the rotor position. The solution involves machining 3mm from the centerlock rotor's inner edge and adding a spacer to the outer edge.
Verify adequate clearance between the caliper body and wheel spokes during installation to prevent mechanical interference and ensure smooth brake operation. Proper spacing is critical for safe performance with this adapter system.
