The name says it all: Extralite HyperGrips are extra-light grips for your mountain bike. Made from EVA foam, they are among the lightest of their kind. The versatile material, a combination of ethylene and vinyl acetate, impresses with its flexibility, durability and excellent shock absorption. EVA is extremely resistant: the foam is water-repellent, temperature-resistant and insensitive to UV radiation. Even when wet and sweaty, the special surface structure ensures a secure grip and more control. The material feels pleasantly soft and effectively absorbs vibrations and shocks. Including handlebar plugs, a pair of HyperGrips weighs just 12 grams.

For installation, Extralite recommends attaching the HyperGrips to the handlebars with a thin layer of PVA adhesive. PVA is a common water-based adhesive that can be easily removed without damaging the handlebar surface.
